Tuscan Elopement - Wedding Inspiration

I admit it, I'm a dreamer.

At any given time, I have about three creative shoots in my head, just bursting to be realized.  Time often restrains the impulse to stylize each concept to life.  I could do creative shoots all day, every day.  This is why I find weddings so inspirational.  A day full of beauty just waiting to be captured.

Occasionally, however, there is a creative team who transforms these dreams into reality.  Such a team collaborated for this Tuscan inspired shoot.

One of these dreams is Italy.

My hope is to someday return to Tuscany to shoot a lovely wedding.  This shoot is all about bringing that little bit of Italiano to the north.

The fabulous artists who brought this shoot to life are as follows:

Paul + Lena - Wedding

In the coolness of autumns long ago, my little girl fingers thumbed through the pattern catalog.  Which princess dress would I choose this year?  Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty...I'd been them all.

Pins pricked my sides as my talented mother painstakingly measured and marked.  Eventually those pieces of cut fabric transformed into a mini gown.  My little blue eyes sparkled as I twirled the billows of crinoline.  Carefully crafted yards of fabric transformed this average little girl into a dream princess.

Caring for a prince charming was far from my thoughts, after all, who needs a prince when you have glass slippers?  One day that would change.  Never-mind the glass slippers tousling to the floor when the right man sweeps you off your feet.

For every little girl who dreamed of being Cinderella...this wedding is for you.

Lena told me in her wedding would be fairy tale inspired.  I can't think of style choices more fitting for this fairy tale romance.  No ballroom could quite compete with the the picturesque setting of Paradise Banquet Hall. Louboutin heels, blush pinks, and a dress to put any fairy godmother's work to shame.

Lena is a real life Cinderella with a genuine kindness and thoughtfulness that transforms her bridal beauty into stunning radiance.  Paul can't keep a grin off his face, this groom definitely puts the charm in prince.  True love in a fairy tale setting.

A special thank you to the very talented Lisa Kwan for her assistance as second shooter.
