Sparkle - Bliss

I am adoring sparkles these days.  While I'm drawn to soft, romantic, colors, I find my inner child surfaces when it comes to glitter.  There's something pretty special about a twinkle.  

My daughter's favorite song is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, it makes my heart happy.  In her world, she sees sparkles.  While I may not be able to do wedding planning all over again, I can use my inspiration on this sweet little girl.  So, we celebrate the life of little sparkly Larissa this weekend.

I also may have an entire pinboard devoted to sparkles.  Yes, I know, what can I say?

Mark + Mina Engagement Session

It is officially busy season!  I am soaking up every moment with my fabulous couples.  I am seriously the luckiest girl to be working with such lovely bride and grooms.

There are a few projects that are under wraps for various reasons {thus the blogging silence}, but I am giddy to share with you the amazing Mark and Mina.

I knew I liked Mina from the moment we started talking over e-mail.  There was an immediate connection and I just knew she was something special.  Her creative concept for her wedding has me swooning.  For so many reasons I can't wait to capture their special day.

Fast forward many months to the engagement session at Sunnybrook Stables.  Not only are Mark and Mina a stunning couple, they have such an easy way about them.  You fall in love with them immediately.  They have the sweetest love for each other and their laughter is contagious.  

Mark and Mina, thank you for such an inspirational afternoon.  The two of you are something very special. <3

Forever Yours - A Stylized Shoot

What happen when you get women together with mad-creative skills?  Gorgeousness!  I couldn't help but click away to document the visions of dreaminess before me.  

Dajana of Forever Yours, Paper Petals invited us to join in a stylized shoot displaying her lovely paper art.  We met at a vendor soiree where we hit it off and I loved her work {and the fact that she carried actual hair accessories to show us...looove it}. 

I have no idea how she crafts and bends paper to look so divine, but she does.  Dajana brings a unique alternative to traditional arrangements.  Dajana's artistry will make any bride fall head-over-heels.  Plus, her charming personality is a dream to work with.

The rest of the creative team did such an amazing job enhancing Dajana's creations.  The hair, make-up, gowns, rentals...all of it made this shoot come to life.

Dreamy Hues - Bliss

I adore color coordination.  There's something so dreamy when the right hues align in gorgeous blends.  Color pallets tell me so much about a wedding day.  Will it be pretty in pink or mustard yellows paired with dusty grays?  

I am inspired by colors, swooning over pastels.  I love that colors evoke emotion, there is a psychological persuasion at play.  My favorite color is pale blue.  It brings me to my happy place of sea and sky.
